7 days yoga holiday on the beautifull Greek island Paros.
Classes based on the system of mr B.K.S. Iyengar, but with a softer aproach.
The yoga studio is located 100 meter from the sea. Small groups of maximum 10/11 persons ensure that you will get a lot of personal attention and correction. Therefor the classes are suitable for all levels, also beginners and those without yoga experience. If necessary the exercises will be adapted to your personal level.
You don't need to bring anything with you; everything needed is in the studio. Classes are in English (and Dutch if wanted).
Classes: 6 mornings for 2.5 hours and 3 evenings for 1.5 hours. Enough time left to enjoy the beautiful island, the sun, the sea and the Greek lifestyle.
Teacher Oona Giesen started with yoga in 1973, at the age of 8, together with her mother Jeanne Buntinx, who was trained in India by mr Iyengar personaly. She has over 35 years of yoga experience and over 12 years of teaching experience, in her own yoga-studio's, in Amsterdam/The Netherlands and Paros/Greece. Oona is an associated member of de Nederlandse Vereniging van Yoga leraren and of The International Yoga Federation.
