Location: Naoussa

If Parians know one thing, that is definitely the art of winemaking - and Moraitis family has taken this delicate and ancient tradition to a new level. In their renovated winery at Aghioi Anargyroi beach, near the renowned village of Naoussa, they produce a wine of superior quality and taste, combining time-honored methods with modern ones.

The Moraitis winery was originally established in 1910 by Manolis Moraitis, who was cultivating his own vines and exported his wine via his ship. As time went by, the winery passed down on the hands of his grandson, who refurbished the facilities in 2001 and took a special interest in the cultivation, harvest and bottling methods, as well as showcased the amazing local varieties that were famous for their supreme characteristics since antiquity.

The ideal climate conditions of the Cycladic landscape lead to the production of supreme wines and you will have the opportunity to taste red, white and rose ones. The facilities are open to the public and guided tours are available upon request, while many events, such as wine-tasting sessions are frequently organized. The renovated winery is itself a cultural and historical match point of the island, as the history of winemaking has been preserved intact, while the vision of the younger members of Moraitis family is to expand their enterprise and do the delightful Parian wine the justice it deserves.
