Being one of the top three destinations of the Cyclades and located in the centre of the Aegean Sea, many ferries go to Paros and thousands of visitors are transferred by ferries, especially in the summer.

During summer, daily ferries link Paros Island with Piraeus, to the south of Athens. From the harbour of Piraeus, Paros is reachable by classic ferries in about 5 hours.

During summer, frequent ferry services connect Paros to other Cyclades islands, such as Anafi, Donousa, Iraklia, Amorgos, Folegandros, Ios, Koufonisia, Naxos, Schinousa, Sikinos, Syros and Santorini. There are also ferries to and from the Dodecanese islands, including Samos, Ikaria and Fourni.
