Cycladic Diving in Paros
Cycladic Diving, located on the southwest coast of Paros, near the fishing hamlet of Aliki, offers guided diving and snorkeling tours in the beautiful waters of the Aegean Sea. Sara Goretta, the owner, ESA course director and PADI ISI staff instructor at Cycladic Diving, has been diving in the Aegean since she was a child.
She has spent the last 14 years teaching diving in different parts of the world and has clocked over thousands of hours of diving. She is joined by Gilda Benedettini, an archeologist working for the University of Rome and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Jacob Van Den Berge, expert seaman and instructor.
Besides offering trips that introduces beginners to the joys of underwater diving, there are a series of PADI courses from beginners to advanced levels. Training is offered in English, Dutch, French, German, and Italian and of course, Greek. Children can also avail training at the center. The center organizes the International Cleanup Day as part of their environmental protection campaigns, and the event attracts volunteer scuba divers and water sporting enthusiasts from all over the island.
The center is well equipped with the latest range of equipment, as well as oxygen cylinders, and they also offer digital camera rental and digital photo processing. For those who want to catch up with work, there is a computer rental, too. The dive center is located in close distance to the main port of Parikia and the international airport of the island.
