The Saloon D' Or is located at the seafront road of Parikia and it is one of the high-profile dancing bars, pretty popular with both tourists and locals, having been operating in the port town for nearly three decades. This is a nice place to have a night drink and it plays a wide choice of pure dance music, including R&B, hip-hop, pop, house, rock, reggae, and techno beats. Attractively set in a maze of small rooms fashionably done up, the bar offers an electrifying atmosphere for a night full of fun, music and dance.
The bar opens at sunset for coffee and cocktails and drinks flow till the small hours with fun lovers of different nationalities coming together to drink and dance until dawn. The menu offers various brands of bottled and draft beer and a choice of cocktails, spirits and shots. There are some lovely wicker couches with comfortable cushions outside the bar for people to cool off. The bar offers its service inside, outside and on the other side of the street which faces the sea. The bar is mostly frequented by the young and rowdy crowd and has played host to the some of the wildest and craziest nights in Paros.
