Fish & Olive is a famous pottery shop situated in Halki Naxos. Katharina Bolesch and her husband are both known artists of pottery who have chosen this special place to create their workshop.
Katharina has developed a strong connection with Naxos from her early childhood due to her father's love for Greece. After she studied pottery for three years in Germany, her masterpieces in pottery have known great recognition around the world. A sample of her work has been exhibited in the Hellenic Folklore Research Center. The magnificent landscape of Naxos has been the greatest inspiration of Katharina that led her to create her own workshop. Her work is mainly focused in the symbol of olive, including also bees, lizards and octopus. Every piece of work is handmade until the finest detail.
Alexander, Katharina's husband, grew up in the Mediterranean and from an early age he focused on the observance of the marine life as a scuba diver. His love for the sea has inspired him to create new motifs with fish as the main motif of his work. Their stunning collection includes also ashtrays, jugs, and handmade candles. Their work are exhibited in their gallery in the centre of Halki.
