The thought to install wind generators on the island of Naxos is not new. However, the subject is discussed over and over again these last months. Although it has been decided that Aeolian Parks will be built in the Municipality of Drimalia, Naxos, the authorities haven't decided yet on the exact location of the wind generators.

The Prefectural Authority of the Cyclades is planning to install 13 Aeolian Parks and 95 wind generators on the island. They perfectly understand the importance of producing such an energy in a world where oil is gradually lacking. However, they are looking for the perfect location of the wind generators, as they must be away from villages, archaeological sites, monuments, Natura regions or beaches. The winds of Naxos are expected to blow a new energy power in our life.
