Naxos Villages: Sangri village in Naxos Sangri Naxos: Sangri village lies southwest, 10 Km away from Naxos Town. The village is known for its Venetian towers, its Byzantine churches and windmills but its is mostly known for the temple datable to the time of the tyrant of Naxos, Lygdamis (ca. 530 B.C.) and was part of his ambitious building programme.
