Naxos Beaches: Plaka in Naxos Greece
Naxos Plaka 01

Plaka Naxos: Plaka is like a continuation of the beach of Agia Anna and is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. It is a calm and endless sandy beach with, in some parts, big flat stones and amazing crystal-clear waters.

In the beginning of the beach one can find sun beds and umbrellas but most of it keeps its unspoiled natural beauty, without any touristy facility to disfigure it. A few hotels, restaurants and cafes can be find behind the sandy dunes boarding the beautiful beach.

Our Impressions:
The famous Plaka Beach is a long, sprawling, strip of white sand with sand dunes behind the beach. Here you can enjoy the lovely water, a view of Paros and some space. You can look out to some lovely rocky outposts in the bay. Because it is quite secluded this beach is popular with nudists.
Useful Info :
- Where to eat/drink: Some cafe and restaurants along the beach, behind the dunes
- Shops/Minimarket: A couple
- Telephone: Some but difficult to be found
- Transportation: Buses from the main town very regulary
- Beach Activities: Some places with watersports and windsurfing rentals
