One part of the beach is organized and offers sun
beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities whereas
the other part is left to its natural beauty and
totally unspoiled by touristy facilities.
Sandy dunes are softly rising on this beach and,
behind them, hide a small village proposing various
hotels, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Agios Prokopios is reachable by bus which leaves
frequently from the capital, Naxos Town, or Hora.

Our Impressions |
If you follow the road south of Naxos this is the first beach. On your way, look out for the salt lakes. Depending on what time of year you come they can either be full of stagnant water, or just sand caked with salt. The beach itself is very long. There are restaurants at either end but the middle is undeveloped and there is plenty of space. You will notice the water is a beautiful aqua marine colour while the sand is nice and soft.
This is a very nice beach. Not too developed with a nice slope down to the sea.
