General Information:
The Cyclades is a great place to visit but while touring the islands one might get a bit fed up of the Greek food served in mostly all cafes and restaurants here. Foreigners especially, need a break and want to try out different cuisines. If Mexican food is what excites them then they should definitely visit the "Picasso Mexican Bistro". This is highly popular amongst the masses and has a great reputation in Naxos town.
Located next to Protodikiou square, Picasso is easily accessible to most in the town. The restaurant has pleasant interiors and is brimming with life. The pretty lights and comfortable seating make it a perfect place for an evening visit. It is a medium sized joint with part of the space taken up by a well lit bar. It is also a great place to eat outdoors and has a veranda at the entrance where one can choose to be seated.
The food here is of traditional Mexican variety. It is rather unusual to find such authentic Mexican food on a Greek island but it definitely leaves one surprised. Spicy salsa, sizzling fajitas, delicious guacamole- Just name it and it's available! The food tastes fresh and homemade. The food here is a welcome break after all the salad and sea food available extensively on the island!
The restaurant has a decent sized bar which boasts of serving some very good cocktails on the island! Their famous fresh strawberry daiquiri and frozen margaritas are extremely popular with crowd. The bar is well spread out and has bar stools where their patrons can come and enjoy a quiet drink.
The place is a welcome change from the regular scheme of things on Naxos island. It is a great place for Mexican food lovers and has been highly recommended by its visitors.
