We have stayed at Golden Bay Apartments three times before and we absolutely love it. I would go back tomorrow if I could! The location is perfect - less than a minute walk to fantastic Ayios Prokopios beach and the local tavernas, but also within a 10 min bus ride of Naxos town. The hospitality is incredible, whenever we stay there the owner brings us fresh fruit and vegetables from her family's farm and bakes us cakes. The apartments are simple but modern and have all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay, including comfy beds! As a destination Naxos has all the ingredients for the perfect getaway beach holiday, beautiful beaches, tranquil countryside, history and culture and a lively main town with excellent bars and restaurants. I honestly cannot recommend either Naxos or the Golden Beach Apartments highly enough (and no I am not being paid to write this!!!). Enjoy your visit! |
