Guestbook of Faros Apartment

Nous avons passι une excellente semaine au Faros fin juillet 2007.
L'accueil est excellent, les appartements sont trθs propres et spacieux (nous avions une terrasse trθs sympa) et la piscine, trθs belle et ΰ l'entretien irrιprochable, a fait la joie des enfants. La plage, juste de l'autre cτtι de la route, est trθs belle et trθs peu frιquentιe.
Une petite (trθs petite) superette ΰ 10' ΰ pied permet d'allιger le budget nourriture.
Le coin est trθs tranquille, mais ιgalement un peu excentrι. Idιalement il faut prιvoir un moyen de transport pour se ballader un peu dans l'ξle. Sinon un bus passe 2 fois par jour et dessert Chora, mais ce n'est pas trθs souple.

Last July/August 2007 my family and I were fortunate enough to stay at Faros Apartments. We had a fantastic time. We stayed in two different rooms. Both of the rooms were pleasant, the balconies were great, one had an adequate small kitchen and the other had a nicer, larger kitchen.
The pool was the cleanest pool I have ever seen- big, beautiful and lovely to swim in. Niko and Ariadne and the staff keep the area clean and nice, as well as providing a great atmosphere with excellent music and great drinks, sandwiches or coffees available and best of all- their great company!
The restaurant with Mama's cooking was delicious and the staff always helpful and friendly! Dmitri gave us good recommendations and we never got tired of the food, even after one month. Our son fell in love with the Pork Cedar- a real delicasy!
The views were spectacular from the apartment and the restaurant.
The beach across the street is wonderful- long white sand beaches with crystal clear waters and no garbage anywhere. There is a great reef for snorkeling around. Off to the left is a wonderful trail above the water we walked along every day to get to beautiful little coves for swimming and sunbathing. Left of there are many other beaches to choose from-all with their own special atmospheres.
We were sad to leave Aliko even after having stayed there for one month. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and really relax, eat good food in a stunning setting with the Moustakis family as wonderful hosts. Thank you Ireni, Elias, Dimitri, Nikos and Ariadne !

you have a verry nice HP. Gratulation. ALIKO is a nice place of NAXOS. I stay everry year on the beach, and bei Irine and Elias in the Taverne. Greeting, we see us in 2008. Greetings to your Family.

My wife, my two year old daughter and I spent the first 2 weeks of September at Faros and we really had a very nice time.
The Room was nice and the view of the sunset was every evening amazing.
The Poolarea is perfect for chiling out, if you dont have a 2 year old daugther who always wants to jump into the pool ;), the music especially gives it the right ambience.
The sea an the beach .. what shall I write .. Naxos is famous for!
Last but not least the whole Family is so hospitable and helpfully ...

Our family has been to Greece three times in the last four years, and Faros is our favorite. Far enough from the port (about thirty minutes) that the island hoppers never get there. Unspoiled beaches, intimate coves, transparent waters.

If that were all, it would already be amazing, but you also get the incredible hospitality of the Moustakis family who make you feel immediately as if you were some long lost cousin that should be taken care of as if family.

We spent four weeks at Faros, and we'd do it again. Thanks Ireni, Elias, Dimitri, Nikos and Ariadne as well as the their hard working staff.
