Unfortunately we thought that 3 days would be enough to enjoy Mykonos but it turned that we needed at least a couple more days! There are so many things to do on the beach that eventually you don't actually have the time for sightseeing. We tried to split our time but we missed something from both.... More >

Mykonos is a quick ferry ride from Athens. Actually we had been to Athens before, so this time after we landed in the airport, we took the bus to Rafina Port and then the ferry to Mykonos. We took a ferry from Athens to Mykonos and when the ferry stopped we got off because we didn't understand what was being said and we assumed it was Mykonos. Before I visited Mykonos, I saw the romantic island locales in a Bollywood movie. This is a nice place to connect with yourself and celebrate with your friends as well as strangers. Language could be an issue to interact with/and befriend local tourists.

Unfortunately, we stayed only 3 days in Mykonos. If only we had a little more time...

The main thing to do on Mykonos Island is to experience the night life. Night time is when the city comes alive.
