Mykonos Reviews -General

Our travel was a mix of work and vacation. My fiance attended a conference, and I followed because I've been to Greece many times before and like it very much. We got to Greece from Sweden by plane and then took a speed boat from the port of Rafina to Mykonos. I had a good trip, but the crew on the ferry to Mykonos was not very polite, a disappointment. Before our arrival, I was very curious, as I have only been to two Greek islands before and never so far away. I have been to Crete and Lesbos. I had heard that Mykonos was the most beautiful and I agree. The island was beautiful and the beaches, too. Well, a little to much adjusted for the tourists at Platis Gialos, a little bit hard to find authentic Greek restaurants with classic Greek food, but it was easier in Mykonos town, we really liked the restaurants there. I particularly liked a small restaurant in Chora -I don’t remember the name- only visited by Greeks, authentic Greek food, very nice and cheap. Mykonos is a beautiful island, and I recommend choosing staying in Chora, but tourists should be prepared of the high prices; it’s a disappointment that it has been so expensive to visit Greece since the Euro became the currency.
