Something like Ibiza but expensive

The trip: The trip to Mykonos Island was fine. It took me 3 hours from Germany.
Reasons for going to Mykonos: We heard that Mykonos was nearly like Ibiza. We love the kind of lifestyle in Ibiza so we wanted to try something else. And we had never been to Greece before...
Idea before arriving: We hoped to see a lot of lovely beaches. And we looked forward to meet a lot of funny, stylish people.
Expectations and opinions: 100% ! It is a really great island with lot of fun. A lot of show off also but that is the same in all the cosmopolitan places, I supopose. I loved the fact that the island is so small. Everything there is in small proportion with little houses in narrow alleys. It is really charming. The town is very nice and much to do. The beaches are also of great beauty but very crowded in the afternoons. I suppose that the beaches be empty in the mornings but difficult to go there after a long night dancing.
The island is really great but very expensive.
Favorite thing about Mykonos: The town. It is like a labyrinth surrounded by beautiful Cycladic architectural samples. Lot of animation there. Very crowded at night.
Negative opinion: It is far too expensive. Even the price for the rental of an umbrell and a sunbed.
Recommendations: Just go there.
We don't know yet if we are going to return to Mykonos. We will see in the futur. I am in love with Ibiza and I will definitely fo back there for next summer. After that we will see.
