Mykonos Reviews -General

A holiday in Mykonos was a dream come true for me and my wife, and we decided that our anniversary was an occasion that called for blowing up some money and having the time of our lives, and that is just what we did on our week-long stay in Mykonos, the island that is regarded as the nightlife capital of Greece.

As our ferry touched port, we saw the amazing spectacle of white sugar cube buildings clustered around the quayside reflecting the brilliant colors of the sunlight, and equally impressive was the maze of cobblestone pathways lined with little cubical buildings whose balconies had a riot of brilliantly colored flora, and every so often, we would spy a tiny chapel with its brilliant blue dome and charming courtyard filled with fragrant flowers. We walked along the narrow path that separates the waters from the multitude of bars that "Little Venice", one of the hot spots in Mykonos has to offer.

All those things we had read about the famous Paradise and Super Paradise beaches had piqued our interest. The place was one big party and the gay scene is pretty much in the face, especially along the western end of Super Paradise. Magnificent holidays and a great place to celebrate our first anniversary!!
