More about: Mykonos island
Last summer in Mykonos, I heard some tourists talking about ghosts and vampires, but didn't pay much attention.

As I was searching the Net a few hours ago, I found the following page www.shroudeater.com/cmykonos.htm

It says that there was a vampire that died on Mykonos in 1701 and that priests had to cremate it on a beach between Agios Stefanos beach, Armenistis bay and Agios Sostis monastery. It also says that the ghost of this vampire wanders around in that area till today and that is why no houses have been built there since then, nor anyone goes there at night.

I live in Britain and as all British I believe in ghosts, don't you?

It is a shame I didn't know about this story when I was on the island. I would have gone to this beach to see for myself...

Well, I don't believe in ghosts, but wouldn't go to that beach either...
This was interesting story to know about Mykonos. Thanks for sharing it with us!
