Mykonos Reviews -General

The main thing to do on Mykonos Island is to experience the night life. Night time is when the city comes alive. During the day, it is too hot to really do anything, and apart from the shops there isn't really anything to do anyway. Most people go to the beach or stay by the pool at their hotel.

Every meal we had in Mykonos was fantastic. We ate out every night and we never disappointed with the food we got. In particular, if you love pepper, tomato, cucumber and feta cheese, taste the greek salad. Also taste pita gyros, it's really cheap but quite heavy!

The beach of Agios Sostis is reccomended for those who want to stay in an exclusive area, far from the noise of the centre (8 km from Mykonos Town, 10 minutes by scooter). Beaches in Mykonos are wonderful and famous between Greek people.

The island is characterised mostly by frenetic beaches and nightlife. For those who love discos I reccomend Cavo Paradiso. But attention to prices because it's very expensive!! Go to Paradise and Super Paradise beach: from 17.00 music and crazy people!!! Go also to Paraga and Platis Yalos. Visit Agios Stefanos if you want to admire the sunset. Go to Little Venice in the night, but pay attention to waves!
