Mykonos Reviews -General

Mykonos is a quick ferry ride from Athens. Actually we had been to Athens before, so this time after we landed in the airport, we took the bus to Rafina Port and then the ferry to Mykonos. Excellent nightlife on Mykonos, one of the best I have ever been to. The beaches are good, on average better than European beaches, but pricey for lounge chairs and umbrellas when comparing to other Meditarranean countries like Spain or Italy. Monuments on Mykonos are few, except for the half day trip to Delos and the small museums in Chora. People are very friendly and helpful and cook delicious. We mostly ate gyros, so food was great. Actually very reasonably priced and great quality. Better than in most countries. The only bad point was a small one-hour delay on the ferry for the way back, but fortunately we had plenty of time until we catch the flight at the airport.
