Better food in Mykonos Town waterfront

Food was acceptable. Kosmoplaz had a very acceptable breakfast included. The other beach front restaurants were acceptable, but not great. NOTE: you need to rent beach chairs on the beach, (which is controlled by the restaurants on the beach), 10 euro for 2 chairs plus umbrella, but then you can get some of this money applied to your lunch or dinner that same day, IF you eat at the restaurant that rented you the chairs. If you think you want to eat at a specific restaurant that day, go to THEIR part of the beach and rent from them. If you are a hotel guest, you will have to be forceful to get a set of beach chairs in the FIRST row, by the water. They all tend to give the guests 2nd and 3rd row chairs, and save the front row by the water for those people coming to the beach from other parts of the island. I think this is probably true no matter where you stay on the island. BUT insist, and you will get a front row beach chair. Try the restaurants on the waterfront in Mykonos Town. Better food is found here than on the beaches. Check prices first, many types of fish are SUPER expensive. But most other food is reasonably priced.
