How to get to Kalafatis Beach

There are many different ways to get to Kalafatis Beach from any location on the island.

Public transport: In Kalafatis lies the terminal of the bus route Mykonos Town (Old Port) > Kalafatis. Note that there are two central bus stations in Mykonos Town: Fabrika and Old Port. From Mykonos Airport to Kalafatis: A bus station lies outside the main terminal building. The bus route Airport > New Port (approximately every 1.5 hours) takes visitors to Fabrika central station (second stop). From there, visitors need to reach the bus station of Old Port (a 15-minute walk). From Old Port, visitors should board another bus to reach Kalafatis, following the route Mykonos Town (Old Port) > Kalafatis.
From Mykonos New Port (in Tourlos) to Kalafatis: The bus station is located at the New Port of Mykonos, a 3-minute walk away from the passenger disembarkation area. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry can take the bus route New Port > Old Port (approximately every 30 minutes) and get off at the terminal. From Old Port, visitors should board another bus to reach Kalafatis, following the route Mykonos Town (Old Port) > Kalafatis.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination in advance.
