General information

Glyfadi in Mykonos is a small beach on the southwestern side of the island, in close distance to Agios Ioannis and Ornos. The beach is partly sandy and partly pebbled. It is much quieter than the famous beaches of Mykonos. It is mostly frequented by families.

There are lots of luxurious summer houses and hotels in the surrounding region. No bars or taverns lie on the beach, but there are a few sunbeds and umbrellas. The rocks on the water's edge are ideal for snorkeling.

Keep in mind that due to its small size and lack of space, it populates easily and quickly, so you may end up sitting on the rocks if you don't visit early.
