Mykonos Ftelia 01 Ftelia Mykonos: it is a beautiful beach north orientated, receiving the Meltemi (the Cycladic wind coming from north) and for that it is particularly famous among the windsurfers.

Follow a weaving road down to the beach. As you approach the asphalt comes to an end and for the final distance there is just sand. A very peaceful and uncrowded beach; which is somewhat surprising because it is quite accessible from the Chora.

Our Impressions:
Compared to most of the other beaches on the island of Mykonos, the area around Ftelia is remarkably undeveloped. There are no big hotels or indeed even a beach bar here. It makes a nice change to have a large expanse of sand, a nice bay and no loungers. A good place to get away from it all.

- Transportation: Need your own transport, as mentioned careful of the sand as you approach a general area to park.
- Beach Activities: None arranged here. Apparently popular with windsurfers.
