Other beaches:
- Korfos: This sandy beach is also exposed to the
northern wind and appreciated by windsurfers. The beach is located in the south-west of the island, close to Chora.
The beach is very close to the road and you can not miss it as you approach Ornos. This is a really dreadful ‘beach’ and does not seem to be in use anymore. The sand is strewn with rubbish and there also looks like there is waste from nearby factories. It is as bad as it sounds!
- Frangia: this organized beach is mostly used for barbecue trips and cruises.
- Glifadi: this small beach is mostly appreciated by families. |
