Mykonos Reviews -Villages Town

Hi, my name is Karin Heyboer and I'm South African. I'm 25 years old. I visited Greece and the island of Mykonos.
I was staying in Agios Ioannis, which I reached by boat. The trip lasted for about 1 minute. Also the roads to the village were good. Only some sharp turns but good quality roads.
The bus also was good because it comes on time.
The trip to the Main Town by ferry was a bit long (5hrs) but not terrible. In order to get there I had to ask someone on our way. A friend of the family stays in the area and that’s the main reason we decided to go.
This place is picturesque and has small cubic houses. There are no flowers, no parks by the sea, but there are offering views and very nice and friendly local people. Also it has nice restaurants, proximate to the beach. It is a very relaxing and quiet place. Just a lot of electricity and water cutting out occasionally on Mykonos .
In the village someone could find telephone, mini market and shops. It certainly met my expectations as it’s a very peaceful place.
I would definitely come to this village again and the best would be to come and live here forever!
I cant’ recommend other villages as I haven’t done a lot of exploring. But I’m sure it’s all great.
