Being one of the most popular destinations in Greece, regular ferries are coming and leaving from Mykonos all year long and the itineraries are most frequant in summer time.

Ferries are arriving at the old port situated in the capital or at the new one, which is at 3 or 4 kilometres away from the old port.

During the summer months, Mykonos island is linked with Piraeus by daily ferries (about 5,5 hours with classic ferry).

There are also frequent connections between Mykonos and other islands of the Cyclades such as Andros, Syros and Tinos, as well as with the Dodecanese islands, such as Kalymnos, Kos, Leros, Patmos and Rhodes.

In summer time, there is also a daily boat service from the port of Rafina (The nearest port from the Athens El. Venizelos Airport, at one hour drive from the centre of Athens) to Mykonos. The trip from Rafina to Mykonos takes about 4,5 hours.
