Recipe of Moraitiko Chicken Pie

This recipe is prepared only in Milos Cyclades. It is kind of a chicken pie with tomato sauce. We rarely meet this kind of pie in another Greek area.

- 1 big filo pastry
- 2 yogurts with full fat
- 3 filets of chicken chest
- 1 tomato
- ½ green pepper
- some paprika
- salt and pepper
- olive oil for frying

Cut the chicken chests in small cubes and saute them with some olive oil in nonstick frying pan. Add the tomato cut in small pieces, the pepper and the rest of the ingredients. Add some water and leave the chicken to roast for about 20- 25 minutes. Then, in a buttered pan, lay the filo pastries all together. First spread the yogurt on the filo pastries and then the chicken cubes with their tomato sauce. Cover the mixture with the filo pastries and bake it for about 40 minutes in medium temperature (180oC), until the pastry gets brown.
