General information

Firopotamos Beach in Milos is one of the finest shores on the island! An old fishing village that once was a summer resort for the residents of Plaka, the beach offers stunning blue colors along the horizon, paired with clear turquoise waters (with a touch of green)!

The shore features a mixture of sand and small pebbles, while it is also surrounded by large trees. A beach bar allows guests to purchase snacks and beverages. It is a semi-organized beach, providing a few sunbeds, too!

Entering the waters, you will encounter a soft, sandy seabed and some large rocks if you venture far into the sea. Moreover, in order to access this bay area, you need to descend a rock-built staircase, taking you directly to the shore. In addition, there are beautiful arch ruins above the beach area, a tourist spot ideal for picture-taking!

    Excellent for seesighting
Firopotamos looks great from the sea or from the above: its church, shape, typical houses a la Klima and many scattered boats. We did not swim there, so I cannot describe that experience.
I would recommend you to visit it without any doubt, but I am not sure about swimming. I personally could not swim and sit on a place that has so many boats (fisherman place), because I have in my mind that it has to be at least a little dirty.
