We first were supposed to stay max. 7 days, which turned out to be 14 due to the kind environment, excellent restaurants (Jollas, fish taverna) and the extraordinary kind & hospital Popi and her husband.
The room was cleaned on a daily basis. Even fresh towels were given regularly!! My mother and I considered the place to have just openend and were hugely surprised to hear they have had it already since 15 years!!
I loved to feel the warm environment which reminded me of anything else but a touristy hotel stay.
Highly recommended..

We enjoyed very much our holidays in Pollonia, thanks to the great hospitality of Popi and her family. Rooms are very well kept and excellently cleaned. Close to the center and to the nice beach, but also very quiet. They are very kind and helpful and we already miss them.It was like finding new friends. Pollonia is a small village but you find everything: good restaurants, bakery, markets and a couple of nice shops. There is also a shop selling local products and delicious cakes.
We thank you very, very much for everything and hope to see you again !!!
Elena and Walter
Thanks also from the other friends: Mariacristina, Maria Rosa and Uberto. |

We spent one week in Kalliopi`s "Kalimera" and enjoyed our time there very much. Our room was cosy, large, clean and well equiped, close to beach and little harbour, had a nice view and a good prize. Kalliopi and her husband were very friendly and helpful, even when we lost the room key... (Thanks god it was found and returned to them!)
Thank you both very much for your great hospitality! If I came to Milos once again, I surely would stay with you again!
Pollonia is a nice small village with little harbour, tavernes, a few shops and a sandy, even in the main season not overcrowded beach with trees for shadow and clear water for swim. You can rent a car or go by bus, to discover the rest of the island (that you should do in every case, it is worth to see!)or take the ferry boat from the little harbour, to reach the calm island Kimolos in half an hour, which is lying just on the opposite of Pollonia.
