 The main port town of Merihas is, pretty much, the starting
place for every trip to the Kythnos villages. All villages on the island are connected through local buses that run between them. These buses are the cheapest way to travel and help you mingle with the local population on Kythnos. They are the chosen mode of traveling out of Merihas and into the towns of Loutra, Hora, Kanala and Dryopida.
For those of you who prefer a much more private way of traveling, taxis can be hired that can take you around to your destination. This is a better option as the island does not have |
