The
essential of the nightlife in Kythnos is concentrated
in the harbour of Merihas. There you will find most of the clubs and bars of the island that play loud music and stay open till morning.
Some of these clubs are seaside and often organize beach parties.

During summer, the island comes alive with the flow of tourists and this is when most bars open, since almost all of them are closed in winter.
Local festivals are also held and are ideal for those who want
to dance on traditional folk music of the island.
