 Koufonisia have no airport. The best way to get there is by ferry fromm Naxos, Mykonos, Paros, or even Athens.
You wouldn’t want to be stranded on a holiday. For transportation within the island, it’s best to walk! It is not a choice but an obligation as there are no roads for cars or motorbikes there!
So no car rental agencies or local buses that operate there. The island is tiny and quite flat so you’ll enjoy the walks.
There is also a caique (traditional boat) that can take you to beaches and from an island to another. |
