 The locals in Koufonisia mostly consist of fishermen. One of
the unique features of this island is its exotic seafood. Once you visit the island, do not forget to taste the fresh fish and lobsters. You have variety as well. The meat of the local wild goat is equally delicious.
And if that is not enough, you can sample mizithra (skimmed-milk cheese) and pasteli (a kind of desert).
