The island has something of the old times: you can walk to get everywhere, you can swim everywhere. Better get there without a car, especially if you do not have children, so that you will not spoil the calm vibe of Koufonisia. Gorgeous beaches all over the island, even in Kato Koufonisi, where you go by tour boat. Best restaurants Remezzo, Kapetan Nikolas, Michalios and Atairiastoi. The prices are good for food, but it might be a little expensive for a coffee.
