Kalidonychi Beach Kea: The beach of Kalydonychi is among the most highly recommended beaches on the eastern coast of Kea, along with Orkos, Psili Ammos, Sykamia, and Spathi. Kalidonychi counts on great crystalline waters that are excellent for swimming, and its profile is not as high as that of Gialiskari, or as low as that of Liparo. On the other hand, its closeness to the mentioned beaches allows the visit to Kalidonychi to be taken advantage of, in order to know them.

Fortunately, there is an available road from Ioulida, the capital of the island, to Kalidonychi. Depending on what the plans for the trip are about, it is possible to take advantage of the available bus service, which also parts from Ioulida, and includes the close Spathi on the schedule. This positive point about the access of Kalidonychi does not make the beach a too crowded location.
 
When visiting beaches of small islands, it is important to take some food and water supplies just in case, because sometimes it is likeable to find that there are few - or none- facilities available. Although it is worth to be taken into account in the case of Kalidonychi as well, it is good to keep in mind this beach has the advantage of being well connected to other parts of the island, thanks to the available road, as well as to other beaches with more facilities.
