Gialiskari Beach Kea: Gialiskari is a small beach on the north-west coast of Kea and is the most popular among the locals living in Ioulida, the capital of the island.

In spite of its size, during the high season this beach counts on an extra attraction, a café bar that provides great views of the beach, to the point that one feels as being enjoying a drink or a meal in the middle of the beach.
 
The location of this place is also very suitable in general terms, as it is at just a 15 minutes walk from the taverns at the harbour of Vourkari, as well as from the main port of Korrissia, since it is in the middle of both ports, although it is placed in a cove within Korissia bay. This semi-enclosed location guarantees the calmness of the sea in regular weather conditions.

Those who like surfing will not like this feature, but the ones who enjoy swimming at tranquil waters, or those who have children will sure take advantage of that. In fact, Gialiskari tends to be plenty of kids and teenagers. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere of this beach on summer, and also come to relax during the low season.
