As the island of Iraklia doesn't have an airport, visitors can fly to Naxos, which receives frequent domestic and charter flights, and then take the ferry to Iraklia. The ferry trip from Naxos to Iraklia takes about an hour.

Iraklia is directly connected by ferry to Piraeus, the largest Greek port, close to Athens, and the trip takes about 7 hours. There are also frequent ferries between Iraklia and other Cycladic islands, such as Naxos, Amorgos, Koufonisia and Schinoussa. |
