The
most touristic developed and better organized beaches
of Yialos, Mylopotas and Manganari all rent the necessary
equipment for various water sports such as windsurfs,
water-ski, paddle boats and more.
At Mylopotas there is a windsurfing school and at the
Far- Out Club (reachable by local bus) there are swimming
pools, water slides, all kind of water sports, a tennis
court, pool tables and a place to do bungy jumping.
The quietest bays of Ios Greece are ideals for submarine fishing
and sea diving because of the clearness of their waters.
The beach at Psathi is ideal for professional windsurfing
due to its high waves during windy days.
