The world famous Slammer Bar located in the main square of Ios opened in 1982 in the heart of Chora. Slammer Bar is a reflection of the vibrant night life and the wild parties of the island.
The surroundings look like the interior of a cave. The bar hosts special events and crazy theme parties with great music that ranges from disco to the latest hits. There are three bars around the dance floor and bartenders who offer their creative cocktails, including the famous "Slammer Hammer".
