Ios Nudism

Nudism on Ios: Nudism is generally not accepted in Greece, except for some specific places, usually remote beaches away from common sight, where only nudists are accepted. Although topless nudism is generally permitted (not by the law, by people) in most beaches, to enjoy total nudism you have to go to certain shores.

On Ios, there are two beaches to enjoy nudism: Kolitsani and Koumbara. They are both not officially nudist beaches, but it is known to tourists and the locals that nudism is practiced there. The bay of Kolitsani is isolate and you need to hike a path to go there. Koumbara, in the other side, is one of the most popular beaches on Ios and in only certain parts nudism is permitted.
