Folegandros Agali beach

General information

Agali Beach Folegandros: The splendid Agali beach is one of the most crowded beaches of the island. The beach is particularly busy in the summer months and needless to say, the tavernas here at this beach are open only during the summer months. If you have come with the mindset of staying overnight, there are a few rooms to let.

The Agali beach is ideal for swimmers. The word Angali means "To Hug" and it is quite appropriate as the huge rocks in the region of the beach appear to be hugging the beach.

    Lovely Agali
I think I mostly enjoyed my swimming in Agali, when I was on vacations on Folegandros. I like sandy coasts better than pebbles, so I loved Agali. The water was very clean and not particularly deep. As it was close to Chora, we went often there. Buses are frequent from Chora. Around Agali, you will find many studios and taverns. Mr Christos makes great apple pie. If you are lucky, you may have some.
