Donoussa Reviews -General

I turned out that two weeks in Naxos were enough to see all the island and relax in the cool beaches, so some days we took the ferry to other small islands around Naxos. Donoussa was one of them. A tiny island about 1 hour from Naxos and with very clean water.

Although we didn't stay more than 6-7 hours in Donoussa, we walked a bit in the inland and saw the low hills, the short bushes and the nice views. We went swimming in the port and then we ate fresh fish.

I liked that life was so quiet and traditional in Donoussa, it has nothing in common with the life we are used to. I doubt if telephones work well there and I think there must be no Internet. Personally I couldn't live like that, especially in the hard Greek winter when ferries must be rare, but I surely admire people who do... In a way, they must be happier in life because the less they expect, the more they are satisfied.
