Antiparos Greece is located in the heart of the Aegean sea, right next to Paros island and belongs to the Cyclades island group.
Despite being so close to Paros island, Antiparos is not so crowded but have a cosmopolitan character.
It is an ideal greek island for laid-back holidays away from the hustle and the bustle!

The island is famous for its beaches, so swimming is one of the best things to do in Antiparos. The beaches are mostly sandy with crystal clear waters, while most of them are within walking distance of Chora, the island’s capital.
On the southern side, you’ll find the most impressive sight of the island, a stunning cave full of stalactites and stalagmites.

Chora, the beautiful capital of Antiparos is where the island’s heart is beating and also where most hotels, restaurants, bars and taverns lie. Chora boasts the traditional Cycladic architecture and is home to a Venetian castle and fortress. Its overall effect is deeply charming!

HOTELS & ACCOMMODATIONS

Antiparos provides various hotels with a peaceful atmosphere for your accommodation and most of them are conveniently located in Antiparos Town, close to the local facilities.
Among them, you will find whitewashed apartments, studios, villas and rooms with a traditional architecture style, usually near the beach or the port.
The most popular hotels are Bonatsa House, Kastro & Soros Beach.

HOW TO GET THERE & MOVE AROUND?

The island is only accessible by ferry. There are no direct ferries from Athens ports. You will need to reach first the island of Paros from the ports of Piraeus or Rafina in Athens or from other islands in the Cyclades, and then get transferred to Antiparos on smaller boats, from the ports of Parikia or Pounda. Note that Paros also has an international airport but there are not yet flights from abroad, only from Athens.
