Antiparos Villages: Chora village in Antiparos Chora Antiparos: The village of Chora is the main town and port of Antiparos. It is obviously the most inhabited settlement.. There is also a small marketplace where visitors can fulfil their needs, and go for a stroll around the locals attractions. Chora also hosts one of the main sites of interest on the island, the Venetian castle, surrounded by a fortress , and hosts four old churches; Christos, Agios Antonios, Agios Ioannis and Agios Nikolaos.Among the tour facilities offered in the settlement of Chora, we find restaurants, bars, taverns and clubs.

In contrast with the amenities found along the rest of the island that sometimes demand the use the public bus or taxi, in Chora they are very easy to access. Furthermore, this location is the best base of operations to get to know the surrounding areas. Chora also hosts a good variety of local festivals, which give tourists the chance of sharing with the locals the traditional dances, music, and eating these occasions are characterised for. One such example is the festival of Agios Ioannis, which takes place on June 23rd and 24th, inside the castle, or the 3-day festival of Agia Marina on July 15th.
