A lovely fishing village

Gavrio is the port of Andros. It is the first town you meet when you enter the island. And the impression is good. Itactually looks like a fishing village. Batsi is where most tourists on Andros go. Nice village, pretty small but has all what you may need in your vacation. Many luxury hotels there and great beaches nearby, like Agia Marina and Stivari. Prices good, compared to other Greek islands, such as Mykonos and Ios, which I found too expensive.... More >
