Andros transportation

Andros is one of the closest islands to Athens and frequently visited by the Athenians and tourists during the summer. The island serves many itineraries throughout the day from Chora to Batsi and Gavrio and all the way back offering visitors plenty of sightseeing, beautiful beaches and settlements and excellent views. The route from Gavrio to Batsi lasts for 15 minutes while from Gavrio to Chora about 40 min.

For the most isolated beaches and other destinations, it is wiser to use your own vehicle like cars and motorbikes to enjoy a tour in Andros. In addition, there are little boats leaving from Batsi to some of the island's secluded beaches. Andros offers many rental facilities for a car or motorbike at the villages of Gavrio, Chora and Batsi for an independent journey.
