Andros Modern Art Museum

The Goulandris Museum of Modern Art in Andros Cyclades: The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation was established way in 1979. The museum showcases the works of the renowned Andros sculptor - M. Tombros. The Museum also has a fine collection of works belonging to other renowned Greek artists. The Greek collection in particular is constantly updated with newer inputs, while it has also been showcasing the works of renowned international artists.

In July 1986, the museum launched its new wing and over the years this new section has hosted numerous international art exhibitions and has successfully showcased the works of legendary artists of the stature of Picasso, Matisse, Kypka, Kandinsky, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Balthus and Paul Klee.
