Andros has all kind of beaches: organized or not, remote or popular, accessed by car or boat. The most popular beaches include Agios Petros, Batsi and Kipri, on the western side of the island, while Ormos on the eastern side is popular with windsurfing and other watersports.

Description: The shore has soft white pebbles and the water is crystal, with blue green colorings. A small river ends close to this beach, creating an impressive biotope with plane trees.

Description: A secluded beach on the south western side of the island, Halkolimionas is located close to the village of Paleopolis. The coast is a bit rocky, which makes the beach more proper for snorkelling than swimming.

Description: Located between the beaches of Agios Sostis and Vlychada, Kaminaki is a small cove that gets frequently affected by northern summer winds.
