Amorgos: Kamari Amorgos

Amorgos Villages: Kamari village in Amorgos Kamari Village Amorgos: Kamari is a mountainous village located 10km from the capital of the island, hidden in the area of Kato Meria. The village has retained its traditional character and has charming stone houses with beautiful flower yards. Within a distance of 2 km from the village of Kamari is Mourou, a magnificent secluded beach. Kamari is a calm village of the island, but very special. The surrounding region is spread with small Cycladic churches and it is great for hiking. Close by is also the ancient acropolis of Arkesini.
